The original Lucas 326x26 mm brakes suffer from
overheating and 'warped' rotors are also a frequent problem.
By using a different pad compound with higher thermal capabilities, this
problem can be addressed.
Unfortunately no aftermarket brake pad supplier has listed alternative
brake pads for the Alpina B8, but
EBC offers custom made brake pads with different compunds. These can
be ordered directly from EBC.
